There are four elements (Water, Earth, Fire, and Air) and one additional superior element (Akasha). Each of those five elements has its own pagoda in the Magic Garden.

Every 14 game days another spell will be available to you.

28 | Earth | Protectus | Shield |
42 | Fire | Vulcanis | Fireball |
56 | Air | Mercurious | Swiftness |
70 | Air | Boreas | Storm |
84 | Fire | Tenebrae | Invisibility |
98 | Water | Nifhell | Freeze |
112 | Earth | Maleficus | Manifestation |
126 | Akasha | Shivaya | The Third Eye |
Each of those spells can be trained up to level 3. You advance one level every 14 training days (just like in the regular jobs as well). With each level the salary increases as well as the number of items you receive. For example if you train Salvetor (the healing spell) on level 1 you will receive one healing item each time you train (so one heal per day). On level 2 you receive two healing items. So, the higher the level, the more efficient your efforts get.
So, to reach level 3 in any given spell, you have to invest 28 training days. As you can learn a new spell every 14 days ... you can see the decision you are facing.
Do you train many spells just a little? Or do you stay with just a few spells?
The decision is yours.
There is one more benefit to leveling your skills. If you "master" a skill (train additional 14 days after you reached level 3), you will earn one additional point in your "star ranking". This will increase your physis by 4 points. There is a limit of 3 stars gained through mastered skills.
You can find a more detailed description of each spell on the official Venexia website.
Great information! Thank you Father Connor! :-)
